Reservations
How far in advance can I make reservations?
As early as you’d like. Reservations for the 2027 season are open now, and our reservation system lets you book even further ahead. Now that’s planning ahead!
Are reservations required?
Reservations aren’t required, but they’re recommended, especially for weekends. We’re pretty full most Friday and Saturday nights. There’s always room in our overflow area, but that means no water hookup (you can fill your tanks at our spigot) and only 15 amp electric. That isn’t enough to run your air conditioner, but it’s enough to make a pot of coffee in the morning.
Can I reserve several sites?
Of course. You can reserve as many sites as you’d like, and groups of 10 or more sites can ask about group rates. Please remember that you’re responsible for all the sites you reserve. If you don’t cancel unfilled sites at least 48 hours before check-in, your credit card will be charged one night for each of them. Planning a club rally or reunion? Do you offer any discounts?
Yes. Military members and first responders get 10% off their stay.
Season and Check-In
How long is your season?
Our regular season runs from May 1 through October 10. We offer limited service before and after those dates, as long as there’s no snow on the ground. Call 320-251-4463 for details.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is any time after 1 p.m., and check-out is by noon. If you have activities or business in town and would like to stay later, ask at the office. If no one is checking into your site that day, you can extend your stay by a couple of hours with a donation to the Sauk Rapids Youth Hockey Fund. If someone is checking into your site, you’re welcome to pack up and park your camper in our overflow area until you’re ready to leave. Please note that electricity isn’t available after check-out time.
Sites and Longer Stays
How many families can camp on one site?
You can bring as many people as you can fit in your camper (see Rates for additional-person fees), but we allow only one camper per site. We do make an exception for families who’d like a little more room: kids can sleep in a separate tent on your site. There may be an additional charge for the extra tent.
Do you have seasonal sites?
Yes. We have 14 seasonal sites. They fill up quickly, and current seasonal campers get first choice on returning the next year, but you can ask to join our waiting list. Learn more on our Seasonal RV Sites page.
Do you have monthly sites?
Yep! Monthly RV sites include electric, water, sewer and WiFi.
Guests, Pets and Amenities
Can we invite friends?
Of course! In most cases, the $2 visitor fee applies only if your guests plan to use the pool or stay overnight. Exceptions are made for large numbers of visitors.
Can I bring my pet?
We love pets! Feel free to bring your dog, cat, parrot or ferret. Just keep them on a leash and clean up after your furry friends. A fee will be charged to your credit card if your site isn’t free of pet waste at check-out. Also, state law doesn’t allow pets in the buildings or in the pool area.
Do you have WiFi?
Yes. Free wireless internet is available throughout the campground for registered guests.
Do you recycle?
Yes! Our recycling bins are single-sort, so you can put aluminum, plastic, glass, cans and newspapers all in one container. No sorting needed. You’ll find the recycling bins by the dumpster.
Are alcoholic beverages permitted? Do you sell beer in your store?
We don’t sell beer in our store, but there are liquor stores nearby. Alcohol is permitted on the grounds if you’re 21 or older. Be warned, though: if you have too much and start disturbing other campers, we’ll invite the sheriff in to escort you out of the park.
Safety
What if there’s a storm or bad weather?
If there’s a tornado or other dangerous weather, the St. Cloud sirens can be heard from the campground, and the sheriff also calls us with weather warnings. If the situation calls for it, we’ll run around the campground like crazy folks telling everyone to head to the shower and laundry house, our severe weather shelter. It’s in the middle of the campground, so check the campground map when you arrive. The shower and laundry houses are open 24/7, so if you ever feel you’re in danger, take shelter there at any time.
